As Petrel* becomes more and more part of your subsurface workflows, the size and complexity of Petrel projects become difficult and costly to manage and maintain. Blueback Reservoir has developed some plug-ins to help you manage your projects and that are also part of the overall Petrel Data Management solution.

The Blueback Project Tracker

With the Blueback Project Tracker data managers can now track and monitor all Petrel projects.  It provides an overview of Petrel project content and monitor changes over time, with the ability to drill into projects and create custom queries.

Blueback Project Time Machine

Blueback Reservoir and NetApp have partnered to create innovative new data management solutions for the Petrel* platform utilizing NetApp technology. The Blueback Project Time Machine provides easy and intuitive functionality for restoring/recovering snapshot copies of a Petrel project. It gives both Petrel users and data managers the security of being able to restore data if needed.
