Bridge Electromagnetics

Bridge Electromagnetics is designed for integration of marine Controlled Source EM data, with other subsurface data, utilizing Petrel*, one of the industry’s leading geological and geophysical integration platforms. The launch of Bridge brought long awaited functionality for Controlled Source Electromagnetic (CSEM) data to the standard Petrelwork flow. 

Interpretation of Electromagnetic Data

Interpretation of CSEM data is usually not a straightforward task, and requires proper software tools and robust interpretation methodology. Bridge  provides both - through superior functionality and sophisticated work flows.

Since CSEM is not a standalone tool, integration with seismic and other subsurface data is needed to extract the full value from CSEM data in an exploration work flow. Bridge users benefit from the geological and geophysical integration platform of Petrel.

We argue that combined data- and model driven integrated interpretation is the best approach when interpreting CSEM data. Interpretation of CSEM data should therefore be based on both attribute analysis, forward modeling and inversion.

Bridge Electromagnetics is a plug-in product for Petrel

The Bridge Electromagnetics uses the familiar Petrel user interface and provides functionality to organize, visualize, analyze, model and interpret electromagnetic data. Access to CSEM technology and CSEM data in Petrel enables new and improved work flows. Bridge Electromagnetics brings the CSEM technology out to the masses.
